The RedNucleus project was initially started by Chriss, formerly of the Belgian band Renaissance (not to be mistaken with the U.K. progressive folkrock outfit) which in the early/mid ’90s released music that can be described as progressive metal/rock with an epic, sometimes orchestral touch. On vocal is former Renaissance bandmate Santiago.
With RedNucleus their aim is not to rehash but rather expand on the direction where Renaissance left off, exploring new sonic avenues. The band is currently writing and recording new material, which will be made available here for free downloading.
New bandmembers will be sought so that live performances can be planned, some time later in 2004.
